Are you ready for this? Many of us are completely oblivious to the changes coming in the next month or so, and many will wonder why such a dramatic change in the layout of Facebook profile pages. Many still have no idea that you can actually go ahead and change your Facebook profile to the new page layout this very second…very exciting I must say. But once again, why? This new profile is called “Facebook Timeline” and is packed full new features. According to Pete Cashmore, special contributor to CNN,
“Your Facebook profile will go from having one central column to two, with boxes of text, photos, videos and even maps of your favorite locations. Rather than just displaying your most recent activities, your profile will become a scrapbook documenting your entire life, all the way back to your birth. Facebook will become a record of your existence: All your memories, your victories and your defeats, your loves, your losses and everything in between.”
Pete Cashmore is founder and CEO of Mashable, a popular tech-news blog. He writes occasional columns about social networking and tech for CNN.com.

Should the federal government raise taxes on the rich? What are your thoughts?
The simple fact of the matter is that there is a fundamental disconnect between government spending and government revenues. We have to tax more because we spend too much. I’m simply tired of the talk about reducing the budget and spending because it just simply can’t happen. Medicare, defense spending, corporate tax breaks, aid to foreign countries. These are all areas that can be minimized regarding spending, but the major effects by decreasing the amount going to these programs can be devastating. There has to be more revenue taken in by the government and the only way this will happen is tax increases. Corporate taxes must increase, but I don’t believe that taxing the upper level of society will benefit anymore than hurt us. What is your opinion?

Yes you read correctly. The fast food giant is trying a leaner and more healthy style of meal in some metro Atlanta restaurants. Yes it is a step in the right direction, but I firmly believe that it is not the job of the corporation to provide the healthy food, the parent should be providing the health food by not going to McDonald’s for breakfast every morning. Then we have to ask the real question, why does this parent have to take their child to McDonalds every morning? It’s cheap, fast, and always open. Our lack of societal stability keeps parents flowing into McDonald’s and every other fast food restaurant due to convenience and price. Keep the prices low and the fat content high, and you will continue to keep the customer happy. That is all for now…

How do I get a higher ranking on Google search results? How can I get something taken off the search results? These are questions I encounter every single day, especially in the real estate industry, where most agents try to stick out from the crowd. Presidential candidate Rick Santorum wants Google to alter the search results for is name. As you can gather from the article above, Google absolutely will not touch their search results preaching “free speech”. The most they will do is alter their search equations so different results will appear. The key to getting near the to is to throw a huge amount of information and hopefully people will click on some of it, if you want something removed from the results, all you can do is hope and pray that somehow no one notices the site.
